The Connecticut Baseball Academy is New England’s Premier Indoor Baseball & Softball Training Facility for players of all ages and all ability levels. The Connecticut Baseball Academy features 30,000 square feet of Batting Cages, Pitching Tunnels, and Training Areas and Equipment that is available for individuals, groups, teams, and leagues. Our indoor facility and training programs are ideal for the little leaguer, high school player, or college player getting ready for the next spring training.
The Connecticut Baseball Academy has an experienced and qualified staff ready to assist you with your baseball training needs. CBA President and General Manager Bob Hetu has been an amateur baseball coach for over 20 years, including 3 State Little League Championships and 6 District Little League Titles in the East Hartford Little League program. Dan Kennedy, CBA’s Director of Baseball Operations, spent time in the Minor Leagues with the Cubs, Orioles, and Red Sox organizations. Hetu and Kennedy headline a staff of former and current professional players and former and current college players to provide top level instruction to your players.
In addition to the full time coaching staff, CBA also has a number of guest instructors each and every year. This year’s group includes Scott Fletcher, a 15 year Major League Veteran and Former Boston Red Sox; Ben Ford, a Former Major League Player and Former New York Yankee; Jim Bretz, San Diego Padres Professional Scout; George Biron, Anaheim Angels Professional Scout; Terry Rooney, Louisiana State University Pitching Coach; Joe Hastings, Boston College Hitting Coach, and many others.
